Sarah Elizabeth Brooke 1842 Reproduction Sampler Work in Progress

I am happy to say that the stitching slump that I have been in for so long now has finally disappeared and I have regained my stitching mojo!  I still have many projects that I should finish and will, but my dh and I saw this sampler that The Scarlett House has redesigned and stitched and he told me that he thought I should get it.  It has really been a joy to stitch so far and I just love the colors in this.  It is a reproduction sampler done in 1842 .  It uses Belle Soie silk threads and I am stitching this on 40ct Vintage Lt Exampler Fabric.  I have a StitchWizard Facebook page too so please come into my room as well as to my blog here.   Jerry and I got new 150 scooters this summer and are riding those and having a blast together.  Mine is red and his is blue.  So now I am stitching and scootin , but not at the same time lol.   I hope to have a new post on this very soon!!

I am so glad to find another stitcher that has began this sampler!! I also started it last week...I almost began with the border (I ususally do!), but for some reason, began in the lower right corner...I need to photo and post about it....just the grass, there's not too much to show!

I'll be following your progress...hmm, maybe I'll add to my grass with some border now that I have seen yours!! Good job, Faye
